@Dezildezzzz Who would you target? I do think a lot of football is more towards a “work man like” midfield and the CBs are actually the volume passers now which is interesting.

@Emma_V2 We have that in Lewis-Skelly and Zubimendi, players who are very competent at progressing via passing (Zubi), and via carrying (MLS), whilst still being competent defensively, but neither are specialist controllers/volume passers. That should be our priority CM signing.

The same would happen with any elite player at any club not just Arsenal, otherwise 85% of the time the elite player would start. So what improves Arsenal? A backup who plays 15% of games, or a starting quality player who improves Rice + Arsenal that also plays 85% of games?

Anytime Rice didn’t play the midfield was wide open. The player signed has to cover ground, smell danger/win duels & offer some on ball benefits. Bouaddi is closest to Rice off ball and helps deep build up. Scott is probs -30% defensively but +30% going forward. What matters more
