After 7 diagnosed concussions from playing 10 years in the @NHL and fighting 164 times, I walked a lonely road through the medical system trying to regain my brain health and quality of life When I retired early, at the age of 30 in 2015, I was diagnosed with early onset dementia and that began my quest to figure out what had happened to my brain and fix it In the back of my mind I always knew I would get better, and I did in 2019 after a 4 year search A mushroom ceremony helped to connect my brain hemispheres, reset my nervous system and regulated my pituitary gland and hormones I received clear brain scans and blood work after just 6 months of a specific natural medicine, exercise and diet routine If you are a concussion survivor, who thinks that your “new normal” is something that you must accept and live with for the rest of your life, think again We’ve opened our doors in Portland Oregon with @experienceonward (Instagram) a legal and safe wellness center where you can access mushroom assisted therapy We will begin doing weekly webinar calls again in December, sharing with the community how you can access the healing that myself, and countless others have come to know and love Onward
