If you're joining the #WWE2K26 mod community this year, welcome. There are a lot of talented creators who target all eras of wrestling (I'm an ROH/AEW guy).
What should never be normalized is leaking paid content and bragging about it because of grudges or parasocial nonsense. It hurts creators and damages the whole community.
Do not be like these people. This behavior is not something to copy, defend, or excuse.

@elliottswrstlin Great match. You prove it more and more each week that you know fuck all about wrestling.

@elliottswrstlin Hard disagree. This was presented as a solid contest. It's a masterpiece.

@elliottswrstlin I ......wait.....what? Its an amazing match. Ive showed it to non fans as a "see it can be a sport" example and they loved it. Did something change? My group of wrestling buds in high school all loved it at the time.

Probably would've ranked higher if the match was good.

🚨 WWE ranks Shawn Michaels winning his first WWE Championship at WrestleMania XII as the 23rd greatest WrestleMania moment ever.

@Mykelovve @dotGrix True especially with the game itself. I love when people spend 6 months hyping their pre order then BIIIITCH about how bad the game is. 2k will never learn if you keep pre ordering and beta testing for them. But it gets repeated every year.

@Extremejay2000 @dotGrix We’re also the only community that bitches about paying for something but still pay for the main consumer anyway. Don’t give me wrong. Tired of us did piss me off with the Random cancellation but it’s never that serious to leak somebody’s hard work.
English

@BModderrr @dotGrix But again these are my (and lots of others) opinions. End of the day none of it matters, really. World is going to shit.
English

@BModderrr @dotGrix Huge difference with that and. "Here is a mod. If you want to donate so I can keep modding in my spare time it is appreciated"
English

@dotGrix I mean if you mod a wrestler in to a game. And charge for it. You haven't paid for their likeness and aren't giving any of your proceeds to them. Its wrong to charge for that (not sure if anyone charges for wrestlers) and is grounds to be shut down. But free people look away.
English

@dotGrix Meh maybe. Again. Like I said in all for patreon. And throwing some cash a modders way when you can. I encourage that. Just dont believe you should have to pay for a mod upfront. I think it holds the scene back and brings unwanted attention from IP holders.
English

@dotGrix So if i pay for mod a it needs to work flawlessly (within reason). I paid real money for it. But free mod breaks or breaks something it's ok. Its free. I can nicely ask the community for help and most are willing. (In every circle there are modders who despise mod users)
English

@dotGrix I will use Fallout 4 as another example. Been in that scene for ten years. Never had to pay for anything. From basic outfits and weapons to total conversion mods overhauls and entire new games. I would never pay for those because any combination can just break.
English

@_seedneyy_ @80sWrestling_ Moments aren't box office. Pops aren't money. No one is denying Austin was mega over. But his DRAW time, as in profits made was very short. That was my point. Austin wasn't drawing anything in 2000 because he was out 80 percent of the year. By 2001 the audience is much smaller.
English

@Extremejay2000 @80sWrestling_ Even 2000 lol.. the biggest moment of 2000 is Austin return at backlash
English

@dotGrix But not ok when I pay. I have sent a few bucks to Fallout modders before because I was happy with their work. But you would be nuts to pay for a Fallout or Skyrim mod. Ive been in the modding scene over a decade. Never seen the bs that goes on in the wwe mid scene.
English

@dotGrix You are comparing all of the sims "official" stuff packs and nonsense by EA to fan mods? There are thousands of free mods for the sims. Terrible comparison. I LIKE the idea of supporting a modder by sending them a few bucks. But not to pay for the actual mod.
