But fashion shows and influencer culture and clothing ads are constantly pushing new this and new that and if you’re prone to giving in or if you’ve used shopping as a coping mechanism they will hunt for you relentlessly. Stay strong. 🥰

The fashion industry is literally designed to prompt you to want/get new things EVERY SEASON or else feel horribly behind. Learning to build a staple wardrobe and ignoring the need to have something new or the next cool thing is a muscle I’m building but the pressure is strong.
