@jcjgraham Turn off the swing assist. Or tune it to your liking. I turned it down to the point where it felt like the games I grew up playing, but I still looked kinda cool while swinging, after all I’d like to actually feel like I’m Spider-Man, and Spider-Man doesn’t faceplant (often) 😅

Insomniac's swinging has programmatic safeguards in place for cinematic flow, directional linearity, minimum elevation from the ground, etc.; Treyarch's had rigid, varying fulcrums and more control at the cost of it being easier to hit the ground or walls and lose momentum, I can see why people prefer one or the other
