The reason why you don’t compare yourself to anyone is because it’s an uneven playing field. The time, support, effort, your upbringing, learning, experiences, & skills will always be different from everyone else’s so don’t waste time comparing. You vs you 🙌🏽

Remember God gave YOU the imagination and showed YOU that dream. So the people that douse your fire - they don’t get it because God didn’t show them he showed YOU. Go get it!

Everybody has dreams but the difference between people is some grow to the size of their dreams and others downgrade to the size of their problems. There’s always gonna be problems & I’d rather deal with the problems that come with the dream!

Trying to trick my programmed brain more & more when making decisions. There’s always a window of opportunity to decide what you’re going to do. Surprise your brain and go the opposite of procrastination, laziness & fear.

I post from a place of having experienced (to an extent) the things that I write. Never from a place of perfection because I don’t always have it altogether but always from a place of learning. If it happens to inspire and resonate with others then it serves its purpose. ❤️

Good reminder today that if you are meant to grow in patience, understanding, love etc. for the season you’re in, sometimes you’re going to get the opposite to teach you that. 👀

The way we were taught shouldn’t always be the way we teach others. Evolving our ways starts with awareness of self.

Slowly is the fastest way to get to where you want to. But sometimes trying to complete a 1 year goal in 4 months helps you learn quicker. Just take care of your Hauora through the process.

Not the best health lesson yesterday with my class. My limited mindset would take it too personally and start thinking all sorts. My growth mindset would think it’s an opportunity to learn and be better. I’m with the latter.
