so the woman who got shot yesterday has 2 older kids in the custody of the dad, do you know how rare that is? That alone tells you how absolutely unhinged this woman was, men never get custody if the mom is "normal"

AOC: This has now become what we feared most about ICE for a long time—that it would be used as an anti-civilian force with no accountability. At the end of the day, what we saw today was a murder, and murders in cold blood need to be prosecuted.

American conservatives are such gross frauds. They pretend to oppose tyranny but start frantically licking boots whenever there's a police shooting. They pretend to oppose war and applaud Trump's warmongering. They pretend to be Christian and ignore most of the New Testament. They pretend to support freedom of speech and then support Trump stomping out speech that is critical of Israel. They pretend to support the rule of law and then applaud when Trump openly kidnaps the president of a sovereign nation to steal its oil. They pretend to oppose big government and then applaud trillion-dollar military budgets and the expansion of government departments to flood the streets with armed thugs. It's not that they're hypocrites. It's that they're liars. They're groveling, power-worshipping bootlickers, and then they make up a bunch of fake stories about themselves to make them feel like they're actually decent people. They are not decent people. They are genocidal warmongers with their tongues firmly inserted into the anuses of the most powerful people on the planet. They are everything they pretend to hate. They are everything that is wrong with this world.

Ya know what kinda sucks? The Biden administration saw how much massive banks were profiting off of overdraft fees, and so they implemented a change that would prohibit huge banks who have more than $10Billion in assets from charging people more than $5 for an overdraft fee. Those big banks, like JP Morgan and Capital One, then donated a million dollars a piece to Trump and the president then immediately rescinded the rule. The banks have now upped the average overdraft fee by 700%. The people struggling to make ends meet get exploited, and the richest men on earth get richer. How much richer? Well they gifted Trump a million bucks and have now made $3 billion off of overdraft fees and are estimated to make $5B a year moving forward. This administration can be bought. They are consistently being bought over and over and over. They'll work on behalf of anyone who can put money directly in their pockets from laws to pardons. History, if it is ever written in truth and not by simply the victors, won't remember this administration fondly.

Five years ago, our great American democracy was put to the test, and Donald Trump failed it. The danger he poses was clear then, and it remains clear now. We must never forget that.

Nancy Pelosi on January 6: “Today, the president who incited that insurrection continues to lie about what happened that day. I saw him claim we didn’t ask for the National Guard. For over three hours, we begged him to send the National Guard. He never did. He took joy in not doing it. He was savoring it. What he’s saying today is an insult to the American people.” That’s firsthand testimony and it directly contradicts Trump’s revisionist story.

Kamala Harris@KamalaHarris·
Five years ago, an armed mob stormed the United States Capitol. Inspired by lies and hatred spewed by Donald Trump, they used brutal violence and intimidation in an attempt to overturn a free and fair election. And since returning to office, Trump pardoned the insurrectionists who betrayed their country. January 6, 2021, showed us how fragile our democracy is. We, the people, must fight back against Donald Trump and his cronies as they sow chaos and fear among the American people. We cannot stand idly by as they strip our fundamental freedoms, enrich themselves on the back of working people, and destroy our reputation around the globe. And we must continue to do the hard work to ensure our democracy survives. Let me be clear: Certifying the presidential election on January 6, 2025, was one of the most challenging moments in my career. Yet I never — not for one second — considered any other action. Because the American people had spoken. And in our nation, the power is and must always be with the people.

I’ve been thinking a lot about stamina systems in my game. A lot of players hate stamina because it limits how much they can act. At the same time, some players like it because it prevents mindless dodge and attack spam. After thinking about this for a long time, I came up with an idea. What if stamina wasn’t a resource at all? Instead, attacks and dodges build fatigue. Higher fatigue means you take more damage (and maybe deal less). You can always act. You’re never locked out of attacking or dodging because a fatigue bar is full. If you like aggressive play and feel confident managing that risk, you’re free to go all in. If you prefer a safer approach, you can manage fatigue and fight more steadily. At the end of the day, you have more freedom to decide how you want to play. This is a pretty big change, and I’d really love to hear your thoughts. Player feedback matters a lot to me!

$MSTR is now a 1.27 times levered ETF trading at its NAV and paying 10% for its leverage. It was always this and was never anything other than this despite the nonsense from the silly investors, the company and its founder. It has no GAAP earnings despite the practically fraudulent use of ASU 2023-08. It has no justification for being valued with a P/E. It has a significant on going problem as it had no earnings an ongoing dividend pavements. It also should not have been added to NDX 100 and will never be added to the SPX or any "corporate" index. BUY BTC or IBIT for your BTC exposure not this clear and obvious scam.

The funny thing about the $MSTR disaster is that if they had actually just run a bitcoin ETF with a 1% fee, their business would be 1) profitable 2) viable 3) much larger 4) investors would be better off Instead you have a bunch of absolutely retards making 8-9 figure salaries to underperform bitcoin by a factor of 5x
