He loved ranch dressing, sneaking outside, sticking your head in stinky shoes, pooping on the floor, chewing plastic, put me in the hospital once, and for the rest of my life every white pile of laundry in the corner of my eye will be Stig for a split second.

I didn’t think he would be good with a baby but he proved me spectacularly wrong. He was so patient and gentle with my baby way more than he ever was with anyone else. The best guardian beast you could ask for.

We had a rough day yesterday and had to put down Stig - our wonderful companion gremlin of 15 years. He enjoyed his last rays of sunshine in the grass before we went to the vet to say goodbye. It was sudden but not unexpected.
