I pay for their “best” coverage plan. $6,000 deductible with a $9,000 out of pocket max. I spent $5,220 on medical expenses last year and am a relatively healthy person.

I pay $1,138.00 per month for my wife and I with a $6,000. deductible each, $10,000 max out of pocket per year means we pay $23,000 before insurance kicks in.

Ok. Take government completely out of healthcare. No rules. No laws. No Medicare. No Medicaid. Hospitals, insurance companies, can do anything they want. What do they do ? If you were running any of the biggest insurance companies or hospitals, what would you do differently once gov was completely out of healthcare ?
