What is Thomas fans' obsession with BoCo? He has no distinct personality but is only relevant in the fandom because he happened to be Diesel Edward. How does he deserve to come back more than characters who actually have personality, like Bulgy?

@solrocknroll I think the best way to have sold em is if Feraligatr specifically was duel type. Not just because it's my favorite but because then it would 1:1 flip the gen 1 guys.

@solrocknroll I will always love the Johto starters but I do understand why people find them underwhelming. I think duel typings would have done wonders, the longer the series goes on the less of an impression they have. But (much like all of gen 2) they contrast excellently with gen 1 !

The Gen 2 starters don’t get enough credit for how cool and fresh they felt as a set. They took the ball and ran with it, even if later gens went in more experimental and outwardly creative directions

Pokémon's Gen 1 and Gen 2 starter designs are still undefeated. Simple, iconic, and instantly recognizable. Some designs just age better than others.

@Supersmashsoni @dikosmoukyrios Nah I think it was inevitable. You are right in the sense it being cut rly hurt their characters but the "two identical twins whose name makes a pair" was always going to end up mushed together

Bill and Ben do it better every time. It’s just not a plot that works that well for Donald and Douglas. Twin Trouble and Love Me Tender are alright but they still act a bit too childish. Getting into childish arguments is a lot more believable for Bill and Ben.

Im being 100% serious when I say that the galar dex has the best pokemon out of all generations, tho Gen 5 is a second close. This dex is so good I could die 🥹

@solrocknroll I'd be down for a other seagull (I love birds) but it feels like they've been focusing diversifying their seabirds so I'm not shocked wingull is back. It's sort of an evergreen design.
