Last week, I sat down with Matt Filgate of @GLMetals. Matt just announced that a fully permitted two-drill campaign has mobilized to the company’s Bend Project in Wisconsin, a flagship VMS deposit. The first drill is expected to start turning immediately, with the second arriving in a few days. The 7,000-meter program is designed to step out from a historic resource of 4.5 million tons averaging about 1.7% copper and 2.5 g/t gold, and to follow up on high-grade results from late last year, including roughly 34 meters at around 3.5% copper equivalent, by targeting mineralization down dip and down plunge.
