#triviatuesday Did you know? T.M. Sheppard, one of the Sudbury Curling Club’s founding members, donated the Sheppard Cup in 1892 for local competition. Sheppard donated a second cup in 1893 for competition between clubs in Algoma and Nipissing Districts.

#triviatuesday Did you know? The first home for the Sudbury Curling Club was Martin’s rink, located at 79 Durham St. The rink officially opened on January 11, 1892 and was demolished in 1906.
