I think it's an infraction of some kind that sheemoo there in the brown shirt brigade representing, or more accurately, throwing her weight around, like she has authority in the public way... that's probably punishable under law.

Run offs are very rare, or should be.
RCV costs money every election, not just when you need a run off.
Run offs would usually be between only 2 candidates, which is entirely different than ranking preference between 8 candidates depending upon which 2 candidates it happens to be.
Candidates normally drop out during a normal primary when it becomes apparent they lack broad support. But in RCV candidates don't drop out in order to play the odds they might come out on top even though they know they won't get the most support in the first round.
Party staff and leadership encourage various strategies to play the RCV system.
There's more problems more subtle, but still significant. But this post is long already.

Watching this reminded me that we never truly know what battles someone has survived to become who they are today.
A difficult childhood can become an excuse, or it can become fuel.
As a child, Elon witnessed violence in his home. He was severely bullied, hospitalised, and then met with criticism instead of comfort. Those wounds don't simply disappear. They become part of the foundation a person must either be crushed by or rise above.
I have deep respect for anyone who chooses the latter.
As someone who grew up around domestic violence, who was bullied intensely as a child, who was ridiculed by people that were supposed to protect me, and as a mother whose young son once wrapped his little arms around me after an assault and said, "Don't worry Mum, I'll protect you," I understand how deeply those moments shape a child.
Many people repeat what they were shown. Some spend a lifetime carrying the pain.
A rare few choose to become something greater than their circumstances.
I admire the resilience it takes to endure adversity, rise above it, and dedicate your life to building things that help humanity move forward.
Not everyone who grows up surrounded by pain finds the strength to break the cycle.
True resilience is becoming a better example than the one you were given 🙏
