@AmyWinchell Gilbert's North Water Treatment Plant is also undergoing a large reconstruction and expansion. The design includes granular activated carbon filters, which effectively removes PFAS.

@AmyWinchell Hi Amy - Our water professionals actively monitor and test for the presence of PFAS in our water.
If compounds are detected, our team can take the affected well sites temporarily offline to investigate and still meet the water system’s demand.

@Gilbert_Manager Toxic #PFAS-contaminated #biosolids must be banned. Farmers across the country are losing their livelihoods and consumers are unknowingly eating products tainted with potentially dangerous levels of PFAS. No more sewage sludge on our land or in our food!
