@LeslieATarkin @BroSpencer We have multiple episodes on the subject and are working on a TSTSFRaR on country.

@BroSpencer Why don't pastors ever talk about Country Music the way they do Rock & Roll? I watched all of your 3rd Adam series & I've seen @GoodFightMin They Sold Their Souls for Rock & Roll.
Reba has a song 'Am I The Only One Who Cares' which is a prayer of a girl to the Moon & its reply.

Whenever I hear arguments like this, it seems like an issue of End-Times hope for a people (Romans 11:27-28) in a specific place (Zechariah 12-14, Acts 1:11-12) gets turned into a soteriological discussion. It makes it seem like those who believe God has a plan for Israel believe that non-believing Jews are somehow saved now. In this instance, the unnatural branch that Paul referred to is said to have been a step-child? I honestly don’t know anyone who I would consider a brother who holds to that.
The reality is that God has shown in His word that after Jesus founded the church and inaugurated the New Covenant, there still remains an eschatological hope that is yet to be realized. Not a soteriological understanding of Salvation that comes outside of faith in Christ. This hope is realized when Zechariah 12:10, Isaiah 53 and elsewhere are fulfilled at His coming, when they see Him whom they've pierced. Paul says this fountain of cleansing is opened up at the end, and was not realized yet in his day. As Romans 11 clearly states for these enemies of the gospel:
For I do not want you, brethren, to be uninformed of this mystery—so that you will not be wise in your own estimation-that a partial hardening has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written,
"The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will remove ungodliness from Jacob."
"This is My covenant with them, When I take away their sins."
From the standpoint of the gospel they are enemies for your sake, but from the standpoint of God's choice they are beloved for the sake of the fathers;
— Romans 11:25-28
I have disagreements with dispensationalism and don’t agree with everything at Grace Community Church, but the position above that Jeff argues against, is that held by anyone there? I am fairly local and know plenty of people that go there and have never heard them say that Jews can do no wrong. Don’t see that from pastors coming out of Dallas Theological Seminary either, even if I do not agree with all of their eschatological conclusions.

@EmmanuelAcho You understand how hypocritical it is to call out someone for calling someone out? It’s very easy to take the position the world takes on issues, but it’s going to cost you. Offending God is truly dangerous business.

Jaden Ivey is on an airplane yelling that “Steph Curry doesn’t know Jesus.”
This isn’t evangelism. This isn’t discipleship. This is dangerous.
Emmanuel Acho@EmmanuelAcho
Jaden Ivey has to understand freedom of speech does not mean freedom of consequence. Also, you serve God. You’re not God. As the son of a pastor this topic means a lot to me and I’m praying for Jaden Ivey’s mental health. My full thoughts:

Funny you mention the woman caught in adultery and didn’t mention when Jesus spoke to the woman at the well:
The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, so I will not be thirsty nor come all the way here to draw.” He said to her, “Go, call your husband and come here.” The woman answered and said, “I have no husband.” Jesus said to her, “You have correctly said, ‘I have no husband’; for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; this you have said truly.”
— John 4:15-18
He then reveals Himself to her:
The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming (He who is called Christ); when that One comes, He will declare all things to us.” Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.”
— John 4:25-26
She then uses the fact that He called her out for her sin as to why the Samaritans should believe He is indeed the Messiah:
From that city many of the Samaritans believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, “He told me all the things that I have done.” So when the Samaritans came to Jesus, they were asking Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days. Many more believed because of His word;
— John 4:39-41
Her testimony was built upon Jesus doing the very thing you claim Jesus doesn’t do. And you don’t know how Jaden is speaking to every individual regarding the topic of homosexuality, you are responding to him disagreeing with celebrating unrighteousness. I would be disgusted if Pornhub was being celebrated or OnlyFans workers. Homosexuality is a perversion and being unwilling to celebrate it, should be the position of every Christian. I love those caught up in the lie of fornication, adultery and homosexuality, but I should not have to celebrate it to showcase my love for them. I hate that which wages war against the soul, which all sin does.

My guy:
When Balaam saw that it pleased the LORD to bless Israel, he did not go as at other times to seek omens but he set his face toward the wilderness.

“He crouches, he lies down as a lion,
And as a lion, who dares rouse him?
Blessed is everyone who blesses you,
And cursed is everyone who curses you.”
