The problem with ethnonationalism is that it actually makes integration and belonging to Britain meaningless. If we are going to be judged for our race or skin colour, regardless of how much we contribute to Britain, what's the point of integrating and contributing then? Restore Britain supporters have told me, over and over again, that even my children (born to an English) aren't British because they're "mixed race". So, they're basically arguing that about 25% of the people in this country aren't British, regardless of how much they integrate, contribute, or live this country.
