"Schools are accountable to many stakeholders beyond parents," so no need for them to be answerable to communities. What a load of nonsense: academies only legally answerable to DfE and unelected trust itself. That's the problem of remoteness.

Sect 5 of The Academies Act 2010 says an academy order can be applied for before or after consultation.
The IEBs have applied months before it has even begun.
Why not wait until you’ve heard the views of the stakeholders before applying?
Or is it just a massive CONsultstion?
