WARNING TO ALL CREATORS! @apcollective web3 agency got hacked their discord bot just drained my wallet what happened: > I went to their official twitter > opened official website > found discord link > joined server everything only from official links! then: > bot asked to verify via wallet connection (strange but okay) > and then it tried to WITHDRAW ALL FUNDS from my main wallet I felt something strange, so i tested it sent $100 to a fresh solana wallet and got drained instantly HAHAHAHA (screenshot in the next tweet) I'm not saying @apcollective are scammers, their discord just got hacked, shit happens I've tried to dm them and to dm the founder @0xAbhiP but they didn't answer me SO PLEASE GUYS SHARE THIS TO SAVE OTHER CREATORS and be careful never connect your main wallet stay safe

Update on the ongoing security incident: We are currently working with @0xGroomLake on the investigation. Initial findings suggest the DNS provider hosting the app domain was socially engineered, allowing an attacker to redirect the domain. Neutrl smart contracts remain secure and have been temporarily paused as a precaution. Please do not interact with the protocol until further notice is provided. We will continue to share updates as more information becomes available as well as a full post mortem.

On the $THE market incident: here's what happened and what we're doing about it. The attacker spent 9 months slowly accumulating $THE to build a dominant supply position. They then bypassed our supply cap by directly transferring tokens to the protocol contract. This is a gap in our code we are working to close. From there, they ran a recursive loop: borrow assets → swap for $THE to pump the price → directly transfer $THE into vTHE to inflate the exchange rate → repeat. Each cycle generated excess borrowing power, sustaining the loop until liquidation. This created bad debt on the protocol. Key points to note: 1⃣This was not a flash loan attack 2⃣Venus' oracles did not fail 3⃣Venus Flux is unaffected We've paused the $THE market, set CF to zero, and applied precautionary measures to 8 other at-risk markets by setting their CF to zero as well. Next: supply cap enforcement hardening, tighter collateral eligibility for low-liquidity assets, and price monitoring safeguards. Full post-mortem to follow. Follow official Venus channels only. 🚨 HashDit Alert 🚨 It appears that @0xswapnet and @ApertureFinance have both faced security incidents resulting in at least $17.4m in losses on chains: #ETH, #BSC, #ARB, #BASE! The vulnerability has since been fixed by @0xswapnet while @ApertureFinance has since sent an on-chain message for negotiation. The root cause can be traced to a lack of validation in the Victim Contracts, resulting in arbitrary calls made by the hacker.
