Don’t ruin your witness for Jesus Christ! Don’t be one way around fellow believers and another way around unbelievers. If you blend in with the world, you aren’t set apart in Christ. Compromising with the wicked completely pollutes your witness for Jesus Christ.

If faith alone is sufficient, why does St. Paul say that what counts is “faith working through love” (Galatians 5:6), rather than simply “faith alone”?

. Anyone who actually believes that they are loving (doing for) their neighbors (which includes everyone, including those we can't stand) in the same way that they love (are doing for) themselves, is delusional. I don't know of a better way to put it.

Unbelievers outdo us all the time in love and generosity. I can do 1 million good deeds and 1 bad will rule me out. The standard is beyond us. Thank God for Jesus.

We live by faith not by sight, neither outwardly or inward. There is no need to measure, I am exposed and stripped naked.

So, our hope ultimately isn't in how much we change, but in Christ's righteousness and God's mercy toward sinners, like you and me.
