I hate how the Death Star just obliterates Alderaan in cold blood after Leia clearly said the Rebel Base was on Dantooine.
George should have made it more clear that the Death Star was shooting in self-defense, maybe even having Alderaan shout something threatening as it fires.

If you're wondering why movies suck now it's because Hollywood has been systematically discriminating against talented White artists like this for over a decade.
In order to fund these massively successful projects these guys had to do Youtube for 11 and 9 years respectively.
In the 90s they would have been hired as writers based on their talent alone. Now they have to build an entire career first, and then self-fund on a shoestring budget, all because of their skin color.

My dad likes to tell the story about how, on his eighteenth birthday, he went back to his car and the local bobby had put a note on his car saying, “Don’t drive home tonight. Happy birthday.” There was a single policeman who covered the entire town, knew everybody and genuinely had their best interests at heart—he considered it a serious failure if he had to get directly involved in people’s lives to discipline and punish them.
