If a political figures appear so afraid to test their popularity within their own party structure, it naturally leads to questions about how they intend to build the broad national consensus required to lead a country as diverse and complex as Nigeria. Party primaries are a fundamental pillar of democracy, if Peter struggles to compete fairly among fellow aspirants within his party, it becomes difficult to convincingly argue that he can unify and lead an entire nation with diverse interests and strong political contenders.

Producing presidency does not guarantee regional Progress. You guys keep laying emphasis on something that is immaterial Buhari is from the North Western Region. Same with Yaradua yet NorthWest is still considered number 5 in the hierarchy of regional development. Southwest is the most developed region followed by South East despite the civil war. So what’s the fuse about? Atiku is not going to Aso-Rock. The South will complete her 8yrs just like Buhari. So it’s either u support Obi if Tinubu ain’t performing or near Tinubu till 2031 Period!!!

Peter Obi may be the reason we do not witness a Southeast presidency within our lifetime. I have a very good relationship with the people of the Southeast, including political allies and business partners. I genuinely feel sorry for them because I am a witness to the efforts they are making to build a united and prosperous Nigeria that works for everyone. Unfortunately, Peter Obi is destroying their legacy by burning bridges between the North and the Southeast. Nobody denied him the ticket; he was only asked to contest in the ADC primaries with the promise of full support if he won. However, it seems he is more concerned with preventing a Northerner from becoming Nigeria’s president in 2027 than stopping Bola Tinubu’s disastrous administration.
