In the future I will put a disclaimer over my RP content and explain it in more detail. You seem great. I mean, the people who refuse to tip and act like they’re taking a stand against the system.
But they’re only willing to take a stand against the system when it’s somebody else’s family, who is starving.
Meanwhile, every solution they give to tipped workers is something that could be turned on them.
Get a better job? How about you get a better job so you can afford a tip.
Work in a different country? How about you go move to a different country where tipping cultures isn’t a thing.
Protest and change the laws? Fucking joining the protest and vote to actually change the laws instead of revoking and voting against them because it’ll make food at restaurants more expensive..
Our tipping system is stupid, but I’m not gonna make somebody else starve just because I don’t like it. Not tipping isn’t gonna fix the problem. It’s just gonna make someone suffer.
