I said goodbye to my first teaching job today. I became an adult here. Found love. Got married. Started a family. Made connections with 13 years of amazing students and colleagues. I'm looking forward to a new journey. But today was about looking back. Lots of tears and memories.

We’re covering braking systems in Intro to Auto. Had a great opportunity to inspect and measure brake pads on a faculty members vehicle today. We performed a rotation while the wheels were off, also completed an oil change and complete inspection. #rowvastrong #cte #autoshop

Wrapping up work on the trailer. Decals are installed and the wheels are painted. It’s come a long way, only a few finishing touches left to do.

It was certainly a group effort today as we began a big front suspension job. New struts all the way around, ball joints, tie rod ends and sway bar end links. Falls right on line with our Intro to Auto class studying steering, suspension and brakes! #rowvastrong

The ROWVA Auto students spent the morning showing the Pre-K students around the shop. They got to take the creepers for a spin, try out the power tools and even fire up the drag car. What a blast!! #rowvastong
