This was a long time coming for HMD. As well being screwed by Ace Matthews in his previous attempt at that Title, he had come within a whisker of winning the BWR World Title twice before that in 2025. So confident was @LetsBeAce of retaining the BWR Open Division Title in the Fatal 4 Way elimination match at VIVA LA REVOLUTION, he brought along THE MUSIC MAN to perform a live rendition of “Viva Ace Matthews”. Ace’s opponents had other ideas however. After @RickyReganPro went down from a @ItsHardManDan big right hand and @iamamirjordan was rolled up by Ace (with his feet on the ropes… again) it came down to Ace Matthews vs HMD. Ace got desperate and attempted to use Music Man’s guitar as a weapon, but he stood his ground and smashed it over Ace’s head.
