Changpeng Zhao's history comes from OKCoin/OKCasino, where they wash traded the majority of the entire market. There were rumors about these wash tradsing bots on OKCOIN/OKCASINO, and CZ told everyone it was a conspiracy theory. When he left OKCOIN/OKCASINO, he then admitted that they did in fact have wash trading bots. In the SEC lawsuit against Binance, there is mention that CZ has over 300 "house accounts" that trade, these are the wash trading bots. They can make the prices do whatever they want. They can fake crashes, fake recoveries, and wash trade/paint the tape as much as they want, and they will. They know that people look at BNB as the "health" of the exchange, and they can pretty easily fake it to restore confidence... Unless of course, enforcement agencies start breathing down their necks, because we damn well know that nobody in the industry will hold frauds accountable. And this is why you're not getting a bitcoin ETF.

A couple of Democrats have introduced a bill to ban private equity companies like BlackRock from buying single-family houses. It will also force those companies to sell off the homes they already own within 10 years. I can’t imagine why anyone would be opposed to the bill.

Biden Wants to Give 500,000 Americans Money to Buy Homes (Newsweek)
The Biden administration said on Thursday that it was looking to help hundreds of thousands of households to realize their dream of homeownership, part of an effort to reduce housing costs, increase supply of affordable homes and mitigate the rising expense of paying for a house for Americans.
Through its backing of a proposal known as the Neighborhood Homes Investment Act, it would "promote homeownership for an additional 500,000 households while increasing neighborhood revitalization investments," Lael Brainard, the director of the White House's National Economic Council, said in a speech on Thursday when she urged Congress to act on the proposal.
The act will introduce a new federal tax credit to help fund "the development and renovation of 1-4 family housing in distressed urban, suburban, and rural neighborhoods," according to a draft of the bill.
The legislation introduced by Senators Ben Cardin, a Democrat from Maryland, and Todd Young, a Republican from Indiana, could help 500,000 homes and generate $125 billion in development revenue over the next decade, the lawmakers said earlier this year.
