@Montse_DeFrutos @TeachMrReed I've been reading things and them marking them unread again if it needs my response. Not a perfect solution, but it's helping. I changed my notifications so they are only coming once a week, that's helped too. Then I can make a list of all the assignments to check.

@TeachMrReed Because they are fantastic at using technology as a toy, but not as a tool. All of my lessons right now are about using tech as a tool. How upload a photo, take a video of myself and submit it.

How can they be so good at Tik Tok and Fortnite, but attaching a file, submitting an assignment, or logging in is dag near impossible? 🧐😭

@TeachMrReed That's what we do and it's been good so far. And the we are available for extra help from 1-2, but it's an optional drop-in

Virtual school from 9-12. That should be it.

@TeachMrReed I can't vote because we are done with instruction by lunch and I love it. After lunch is an optional drop-in seminar for extra help only. So far I think student attention has increased because our time together is more valuable. It will be interesting to see how it goes over time

For those doing online learning, do you think your students are focused after lunch?

Finished Grad School today. That was cool.

Watching @NBA bubble action with my wife, told her how much I ❤️ the production - not too gimmicky with camera angles and whatnot - just showing hoops . . . to which she just said, “I see a lesson there about this fall. Just teach. Let’s not gimmick our way thru this.”
