The @BACP has announced that the current Chair, Natalie Bailey, and Deputy Chair, Sekinat Adima, have been removed from their positions. They advise that their "audit revealed instances where remuneration and expenses claims by our Chair exceeded what was permitted, undermining expectations of ethical, accountable, and responsible leadership. There were also occasions where these findings related to our Deputy Chair." If there has been a misappropriation of funds, does it amount to criminal conduct? Has this been reported to the Police? In a corresponding video they talk about 'rounding a corner' and how they want to return BACP to 'core principles'. Whilst welcome news, it would be wonderful if one of these original core principles that the BACP wants to return to is the simple and long standing notion that humans can't change sex.
