Enhance your flow diverter follow-up with optimized 3D-TOF-MRA. Shortening TE to 1.5ms and increasing FA to 35° significantly improves luminal visualization for FRED and Pipeline Shield. A practical, non-invasive way to assess in-stent status and support patient safety.

Photon-counting detector CTA performs comparably to DSA for follow-up after standalone flow diverter stents, enabling reliable lumen/apposition/occlusion assessment. Coil-assisted FD cases remain constrained by coil-related metal artifacts, especially near the stent.

Kojima et al. report a promising case series: 8Fr BGC via TRA for CAS achieved 95.2% radial access & 100% technical success. Even in challenging arch anatomy, balloon inflation provided effective catheter stabilization. RA ≥2.8 mm appears key. A valuable reference!

In TSSDAVF, multiple compartments are often present, but their continuity varies. As in this case, it is frequently difficult to identify only the shunt segment. Understanding the vascular architecture and occlusion via superselective TVE is truly remarkable.

Tanzawa A et al reported the usefulness of single-phase CTA performed with scan timing based on CTP derived time-enhancement curve compared to conventional CTA in LVO patients. While time metrics was not differed, it improved visualization of distal vessels.

IC-PC aneurysms remain challenging. This study reports mid-term outcomes of stent-free coiling with the double-catheter technique, showing better results when the neck is <4.25 mm. Practical technical details are also described. Worth reading for those treating IC-PC aneurysms.

RAPID vs non-RAPID EVT selection (n=54): 90-day good outcome was similar (50% vs 46%), with no differences in mRS shift, workflow time, hemorrhage, or mortality. Automated perfusion-based patient selection may streamline workflow without compromising speed or safety.
