@_acl0 @realericmoutsos @PastorMark Integrity invites investigation. Again, I only mention history or tradition as a way of refuting your claim that these interpretations are only mine. I want to be clear I DO NOT believe tradition or history over the Bible’s words nor I have said that anywhere.

@JPThinker @realericmoutsos @PastorMark You know what makes you corrupt? Your lack of integrity. The words "history and tradition" are yours. I've been repeating you. Do you demand that I show you your own words again? Because that makes your integrity very, very low.

@_acl0 @realericmoutsos @PastorMark I don’t disagree, nor am I pretending your study is inferior. I commend you on your study. I was only pointing out that the OT wasn’t originally in Greek, but it was written in Hebrew and translated into Greek. Its original language is Hebrew but the LXX is helpful.

@_acl0 @realericmoutsos @PastorMark Amen. That redeemer and Savior is God, revealed in the flesh as Jesus, one with the Father and Holy Spirt. He has saved me, changed me, redeemed me, through his blood has atoned for my sins, is making me like him, and will glorify me in his presence when I die here.

@JPThinker @realericmoutsos @PastorMark May truth, light, knowledge, and the Holy Spirit allow your eyes to not be bound by history and tradition and you will seek the truth that our Heavenly Father has for you. By God's love for us he sent his son Jesus Christ who we worship as our redeemer and Savior.

@_acl0 @realericmoutsos @PastorMark Again all I’ve done is pointed out what the Bible says. I do not believe precepts of men, including JS. I believe what the Bible says. It is my sole authority in all matters of faith.

@JPThinker @realericmoutsos @PastorMark You are only repeating that you follow history and tradition, and WILL not believe in the Bible on it's own You believe in other's history and tradition and manipulation of the Bible The Holy Spirit will never confirm to me that the precepts of men will be true.

@_acl0 @realericmoutsos @PastorMark No I did not say that. Show me where I said that. You told me this is my interpretation and I showed that it’s not just mine. When I did YOU told ME that I believe it because of tradition and history. I believe it because I read the Bible and that’s what it says. That’s it.

@JPThinker @realericmoutsos @PastorMark Sir. Don't be this corrupt... That's a wretched deflection and attack. You absolutely told me you treat history and tradition over the Bible. I keep calling it out because YOU said it.

@_acl0 @realericmoutsos @PastorMark If Jesus is speaking of himself in Exodus 20:3 and says “worship no other God besides me.” And then he comes to earth as man and says there is a God greater than me and we should worship him, wouldn’t he be going against what he had already said before?

@_acl0 @realericmoutsos @PastorMark May the Holy guide you into seeing what the truth of the Bible says. He can open your eyes. May He show you that everything you believe comes back to the word of 1 man, Joseph Smith. He added to and reinterpreted the Bible on his own. He translated the BoM.

@JPThinker @realericmoutsos @PastorMark I care what the Bible says. The Word of God. And as stated in the Bible, I will follow Jesus Christ and have a relationship with Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father. I'm not interested in some organization's interpretation of the Bible based on history and tradition.

@_acl0 @realericmoutsos @PastorMark No absolutely not. Stop gaslighting. I believe what the Bible says bc I’ve been lead by the Holy Spirit to understand it as true. But it is also not only my interpretation. It is belief even by many but that’s not why I believe it. May the Holy Spirit reveal His truth.

@JPThinker @realericmoutsos @PastorMark That still doesn't say they are the same person. You want to believe it is saying it is. You just really badly want to believe history and tradition over the Bible itself.

@_acl0 @realericmoutsos @PastorMark Wait a minute, your saying “I Am” in the Old Testament, Yahweh, is Jesus Christ? Are you saying the first commandment is not about the Father, but about Jesus Christ? I don’t understand what you’re saying. Please help clarify.

@JPThinker @realericmoutsos @PastorMark Exactly. But that does NOT say they are the same personage. You are implying they are. And Ex. 20:3 is speaking of Jesus Christ. He then says, that he is the Great "I AM" and then absolutely says we have a Father in Heaven who is greater than him. Why deny Jesus Christ?

@_acl0 @realericmoutsos @PastorMark I'm simply saying what the text says, even KJV, "the FULLNESS of the Godhead" dwells in Christ. It doesnt say like the Godhead... "the FULLNESS of the Godhead" dwells in Christ. The conclusion is because they share the same essence and nature, essence, and being. Ex. 20:3?

@JPThinker @realericmoutsos @PastorMark "all the fullness" is key. That is the relationship with the Godhead. Not being a single person. "The Father is me," is the exact same as me saying my Father is in me. It's because I am like my father. You are changing definitions to meet the precepts of history and traditions.

@realericmoutsos @TJRyska @PastorMark Made in God's image is different than becoming God. Thats the lie Satan told Adam and Even in the garden (Genesis 3:5) This may be LDS doctrine but its not rooted in the Bible. It is not Christian. Again, it is LDS but it is not Christian.

Jesus taught the same thing. Read all of John chapter 10 and look why the Jews were trying to kill him. We are children of God, born in his image. "And if children then heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if so be that we suffer with him we shall also be glorified together." Romans 8:17.... the commandment to become perfect even as heavenly father is perfect is not a taunt, but a commandment for growth into our divine destiny.

@realericmoutsos @TJRyska @PastorMark The Jews wanted to kill him bc he was claiming to be God. If Jesus is another God (LDS claim) then they are right. If Jesus is one with the Father (10:30, 10:38) then they are wrong. Jesus is not teaching that men can become God. There is only one God (Ex. 20:3, Deut. 4:35)

@_acl0 @realericmoutsos @PastorMark So no response to Colossians 2:9 that specifically says "For in him (Christ) dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily"? Or John 10:38 when Jesus clarifies verse 30 saying "the Father is in me and I in him"? How can 3 Gods not break Exodus 20:3? No metaphors, just text.

@JPThinker @realericmoutsos @PastorMark No. All the precepts of men have changed the Trinity into a literal and then applied it back to the metaphorical interpretation of the Bible. Nothing you have said has ever proven the literal Godhead is the metaphorical 1 God. Just that you said history and traditions say so

@_acl0 @realericmoutsos @PastorMark Not taking the Bible metaphorically. God is 3 persons 1 God. The Bible literally says Jesus and God are one. John 1:1, John 8:58, John 10:30&38, Phil. 2:6, 2 Peter 1:1, Colossians 2:9 (KJV) All these literally say it. To keep the Godhead as 3 separate Gods, breaks Exodus 20:3.

@JPThinker @realericmoutsos @PastorMark You took the Bible metaphorically The godhead is not declared in the form of Trinity The precepts of men invented it, and then tried to pigeon hole the Bible to fit. That's a metaphorically interpreting the Bible You have then declared that those precepts are now yours

@_acl0 @realericmoutsos @PastorMark So I take the Bible literally, and demonstrate that and you say I lie and manipulate. I reason how this understanding works with all of the Bible and you say it’s just my interpretation. I show it’s not just mine then you say I’m adding tradition to the Bible. 🤷🏻

@JPThinker @realericmoutsos @PastorMark "historical" doesn't equate to the biblical. It's "traditions" of men. The Bible speaks for itself. If you want to take other interpretations as your own, nobody can stop you. But you can't tell Christians they aren't Christian because they believe in the literal Bible.

@_acl0 @realericmoutsos @PastorMark Understanding God as the Trinity - 1 God, revealed in 3 persons is the overwhelming historical view and understanding of followers of Jesus Christ for centuries. It is consistent within the Bible. One God, three persons, without division of nature, essence, or being.

@JPThinker @realericmoutsos @PastorMark "A disagreement on how best to understand important statements" isn't what this is about, and you know it. It's about the manipulation of definitions, so you could belittle Christians who study the Bible and understand it differently than your own interpretations.
