I am excited and blessed beyond measure to announce my commitment to play baseball at East Texas Baptist University. Huge thanks to Coach Johnson (@ETBU_BB_Develop) for granting me this opportunity, and thanks to my family, coaches, and teammates who have constantly supported me.

To @GarrettGearner, the time I spent training with you was invaluable. You had no reason to try to help a kid who barely even believed in himself, yet you did. It shows the kind of man you are, and I have always respected you for it.

To @thecoachsalerno, thank you for teaching me about the game. Your knowledge has been a guiding force behind me becoming the player I am today. Even though there have been sticking points, you’ve been there to show me the way through them.

To my Dad, I quite literally owe my life to you. Thank you for constantly supporting me along the way and leading me down a good path, even if I couldn’t see how sometimes.

One year ago today I had Tommy John surgery. I give praise and thanks to God for letting me have a safe recovery so far and being able to throw my first inning since surgery yesterday. I am glad to be back on the mound.
