This is a hard article to read, but I hope you'll do so. I've spent some time reporting on widespread rape and other sexual violence of Palestinian male and female prisoners by Israeli authorities, and the article is now published. The assault victims were warned not to give speak of what they endured -- they were sometimes told they would be killed or raped if they gave interviews -- but they found the courage to do so. One man described being raped three times in a single day in Israeli prison, the third time after he tried to protest. A young woman said the guards would come in at the beginning of each shift and strip her naked and abuse her. Another reported that she was shown photos of herself being raped and warned they would be released unless she cooperated with Israeli intelligence. Even three children who had been detained told me they had been sexually abused. Look, whatever our position on the Middle East, we should be able to agree on being anti-rape. Sexual assaults were horrific when Israeli women were targeted on Oct. 7, and they're equally horrific when Israeli authorities use them against Palestinians day after day after day. The funny thing about jews is that they appear to be completely blind to the fact that many of the 'arguments' they make about 'Palestinians not existing' could be - and have been - levelled against them with far more accuracy than against the Palestinians.

The number of victims and witnesses who have come forward testifying that dogs are used to sexually assault Palestinians in detention is far too numerous to be written off. There are some abuses Israel carries out that are so barbaric and unconscionable that they make the person who repeats what they did sound crazy. This is one of them, and it’s now thoroughly documented.

One of your constituents Majid Freeman (@Majstar7) has just been through a 3 week trial that ended in a hung jury. This man of justice spoke out against what is happening to those in Gaza and in Palestine, supporting them and speaking honest truths. For his honour of humanising those pure people who are resisting genocide and ethnic cleansing, he is facing 14 years for words.
FOURTEEN YEARS for WORDS. Why are you not speaking about this? Why are you allowing the government you sit in to get away with what it does to its own nationals? To one of your constituents? Using terror laws to squash free speech and freedom of expression.
This true man faces a retrial in September 2027. In reality this case should be dropped - it should have never gotten this far, pathetic. You have a duty to speak up for your constituent who is using his God given right of free speech to speak against genocide and support everyone’s God given right to resist occupation and repression.
So why have you not?

Majid Freeman walks out of court an innocent man after the jury failed to reach a verdict on his case. Majid repeatedly asserted his support for the resistance and the Palestinian’s right to resist. Despite the states best efforts members of the jury were able to see through the politicised nature of this trial. A 4 week retrial has now been ordered for September 2027! The state threw everything it had at Majid Freeman and failed to secure a conviction. Upon hearing the decision, Majid said: “I welcome the opportunity of a retrial, because it means the evidence of what Israel has done to Gaza, the brutality, the systematic destruction of an entire people, will once again be placed before a jury of the British public. Zack Polanski and his partner called their narrowboat their “amazing home” for three years. He registered to vote there. If it was his main residence, council tax was due. None was paid. His team says he stayed there only “occasionally” - if true, there's a very big problem.
