The Islamist threat hasn’t gone anywhere - there will be another atrocity. There will be many more, sadly. I don’t think we should just sit back and wait for that, do you? Because it will come, again and again. More people will die at the hands of Islamist extremists, many more. An attack takes place. Possibly something might change. Nothing does. It fades away. We wait for another attack. The cycle repeats and repeats. It is so very depressing. A Restore Britain Government, on day one, would act before they do. How? - Fully recognise the Islamist threat. - Suspend visa routes from countries designated as high-risk for terrorism and extremist activity. Very important. Stop the flow. - Every illegal deported. - Remove foreign Islamist extremists - day one. - Strip British citizenship from dual national extremists, and then deport them too. - Take urgent steps to remove ‘British’ terrorists if they have given up a second citizenship in an attempt to remain in Britain. - Stronger oversight of institutions where extremist ideology is promoted - close down the mosques that accommodate this filth. - Brutally dismantle domestic Islamist extremist networks. - Forensically investigate every terror suspect for funding links. - Referendum on the death penalty, put Islamist child murderers to death. These attacks will happen again. It’s a question of when, and the British Government is just waiting for it. We must now accept that Islamist extremism is the biggest threat to both our national security and our way of life. Restore Britain would not wait for more attacks - we would act. Immediately.

I'm drafting a series of profiles on the politicians involved in the Pakistani rape gang cover up. I thought I'd start with Jess Phillips. Jess Phillips Jess Phillips became MP for Birmingham Yardley in 2015. That same year, West Midlands Police had a confidential profile sitting in a file identifying 700 children at risk of sexual exploitation in her city. She did not just hold a Birmingham seat. In opposition she held the shadow safeguarding brief. When Labour won the election she was appointed Safeguarding Minister on day one. The portfolio she had spent years preparing for in opposition became hers in government the moment the votes were counted. She was the shadow minister for the exact problem she was doing nothing about. In Parliament she said she would be lying if she denied that over the years, girls had told her police were part of not just the cover-up but the perpetration of abuse in Birmingham. Read that again. The Minister for Safeguarding Girls. A Birmingham MP since 2015. Shadow minister for safeguarding throughout the years of opposition. Victims coming to her with allegations of police involvement in rape gang abuse across her own city. When Labour took power she did not call a national inquiry. She tried to help bury one. After being exposed for blocking a public inquiry in Oldham, she offered councils a £5 million fund to investigate themselves. The same councils that had presided over the abuse. Marking their own homework. She was forced into a U-turn in June 2025 and a statutory inquiry was announced. Within weeks survivors on the panel began resigning. They said the scope was being quietly widened away from grooming gangs and toward general child sexual abuse. Phillips told Parliament their claims were categorically untrue. Evidence then emerged that they were telling the truth. Five survivors made her resignation a condition of their return to the panel. Both prospective chairs withdrew. The inquiry she had spent a decade in position to lead was described by a survivor as feeling like a cover-up, scripted and predetermined. The girls who came to her as victims did not get a decade to prepare. They did not get a U-turn when the pressure mounted. They got told their accounts were untrue by the woman whose job title said she was there to protect them. Perhaps @jessphillips would like to comment on the accuracy of the draft? Britain is not an Islamic country, yet. We should not change our way of life to accommodate practices that have no place in any civilised society - sharia law, the burqa, halal slaughter, cousin marriage and more. Britain is a Christian country, and under a Restore Britain Government it would remain that way. We would not tolerate mass dominating Islamic prayer overtaking public spaces, entire schools would not be closed for Eid. None of this is controversial. None of this should generate hysteria. But of course it will. If a Muslim wants to live under sharia law, there are many countries to choose from. I wish them well on their travels. But this is Britain, and we have already tolerated the intolerable for too long. That must end. There is finally a political party that has the courage to unapologetically stand up and defend the British way of life - one that is absolutely rooted in Christianity. That party is Restore Britain.
