@_Unknown_D_ not trying to take risks with people that do not have any experience that they have to spend time nd resources on training. So like all uni's need to adopt some sort of 2 years full time work industry experience into their degree programmes.

@_Unknown_D_ many universities just need to adopt that industrial year experience stuff some uni's do where ones 2nd or 3rd year is spent working for an organisation in the field they are studying, since most employers want experience over degrees in this post-covid economy as they are -

A lot of graduates were sold a lie that if they do their a levels, degrees etc and got good grades, there would be a well paying corporate office job with hybrid working waiting for them. Their expectations are mismatched with the kinds of jobs that the economy is currently producing. Many of these jobs don’t require a degree, aren’t well paid, and aren’t office based. A lot of legal migration is being driven by the employers that are struggling to recruit for these roles locally so are relying on sponsoring people from abroad to come and work in the UK.
