Seaton Sands WEBS was cold and damp with a cutting wind. Red-throated Diver 3 Cormorant 5 Great-crested Grebe 12 Shag 1 Black-headed Gull 5 Herring Gull 25. The poor Rock Pipits were looking for food along the side of North Gare which made me glad I had 5 layers on 😀@teesbirds1

How does the weather know it is WeBS. Sunshine yesterday fog today. Visibility 20 m. Seaton Carew and Hartlepool are out there somewhere 🙄. 2 oystercatchers spotted. Something tells me numbers are going to be low. @teesbirds1

Foggy Seaton Sands WeBS with only 5 species recorded. Pleasing that two were waders with Oystercatcher and Turnstone. Waders are a rarity in this high disturbance sector. Seaton Carew & Hartlepool are beyond the murk in the photo @teesbirds1
