Now the street is quite again like nothing happened, can't we just rethink on how our lives are being gamble on? By the people we choose to be our leaders? From Goodluck Jonathan to this present administration, one thing has remained constant in Nigeria: innocent school children keep getting abducted while leaders trade blame, make speeches, and move on like human lives are campaign statistics. Chibok. Dapchi. Kankara. Kuriga. Oyo government school children. Different presidents. Same tears. Same promises. Same silence after the headlines fade. The saddest part is that Nigerians now react to mass abductions like it’s normal breaking news. That should scare every one of us. A country where children are afraid to go to school is not progressing nor it is surviving. Our leaders fly abroad with heavy security, while parents sleep outside forests begging kidnappers to release their children alive. At this point, insecurity in Nigeria no longer looks like failure. It looks like abandonment. #Nigeriaisourfuture
