The strongest consumer apps rarely begin with technology. They begin with a behavior people already wish they had. That's why I keep thinking about @Sleepagotchi through the lens of product design instead of token design. Sleep isn't a competitive activity. Nobody wins because they stayed awake longer or pushed harder. The product has to reward restraint, consistency, and recovery—three things that don't naturally fit crypto's usual incentive loops. That creates a very different challenge from STEPN. With movement, users can consciously increase effort to chase higher returns. With sleep, there is a biological ceiling. Better rewards don't automatically produce better sleep, which limits farming behavior by design. Ironically, that limitation may be one of the product's advantages. Consumer crypto has spent years trying to manufacture habits with financial incentives. Most of those habits disappear when emissions decline because the behavior never had value outside the reward.
