Why would he support former al Qaeda leader Anwar al-Awlaki and demand that the FBI be investigated for building a case against him? Why is Zohran best friends with Imam Surah Wahhaj (the unindicted conspirator of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing)? In a recently surfaced video, Mamdani can be seen rapping that he "loved" the Holy Land Five – the Muslim organization who was convicted for funneling money to HAMAS. Mayor Mamdani also surrounds himself with other who share his beliefs – including his wife, who mourned the death of a HAMAS propagandist and also celebrated the October 7th massacre. And his father who stated, “suicide bombers should be considered soldiers and not stigmatized.”
