In the darkness, a glimmer.

It's always so exciting when we get to share our work with you, especially a piece like this that is months and months in the making. It's such a vulnerable moment for us... will they get it?... will they love it?, etc. This one seems to have hit different, in the best possible way. And you might be able to imagine the actual craft work involved in making this. But it might be harder to recognize the countless hours spent debating, challenging, feedbacking, defending, perfecting... all required to arrive at something as incredible as we believe this piece to be. So I'll use my Friday afternoon to send my appreciation to all the folks who had the courage and the tenacity to achieve WWFB.

ok long post incoming, sry. Our Viper campaign is hands down my favorite campaign I’ve ever run! When I first saw the VALORANT start-of-year cinematic, I was shook .. "wow this is sick!" But immediately knew social could play a big part to drive the story. In about three hours, we ideated the Viper campaign with @jtrend_ and @jaejjjae. @armanishmae1 & @ohosh1n helped strengthen it along its journey. The idea was simple: build Viper’s frustration over time and let it spread like her poison. She moved from Close Friends → IG feed → crashing out on X → culminating in our 6-hour snake stream, elevated by @imjenjenjaaa and @annanapz. The goal was storytelling first. Make players feel Viper’s dark, painful, and raw emotions. Huge thanks to @RiotParmCheesy for shaping the narrative, and @Katealyst @_janetkim @thoeft and @twlembke for advocating an experience-first launch by debuting the cinematic on the stream and truly helping do whatever they could to bring it to life. Many more helped bring this to life and couldn't be more thankful for them. And lastly, this one was for the loreheads. Y'alls dedication to our agents and world means everything.
