When a widow cried out to Elisha for help because she was trapped in debt, he asked her to do two things: 1. “What do you have at home?” She answered that she had nothing except a small jar of oil. 2. “Go and gather empty jars, close the door, and pour the oil into them until they are full.” God’s help doesn’t come like an express package or magic that changes everything instantly. We are called to do our part with whatever we have, and to obey His instructions faithfully. Then, in His time, our small jar of oil will be filled to overflow.

Fill our hearts with Your peace, fill our minds with Your truth, and our spirits with fresh strength for whatever lies ahead. Lord, help us trust You more than our fears and focus on Your promises instead of our problems. Guide our steps, open the right doors, and give us wisdom in every decision we make this week. May this week be filled with unexpected blessings, favor, opportunities, and reminders of Your goodness. Protect our family, strengthen our faith, and help us see Your hand at work even in the small moments. Remind us that we are never walking through it alone you go before us, stand beside us, and hold our future in Your hands. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

She wasn't in a shelter or even moving from couch to couch. It was tone deaf. Alicia will never have that self awareness.
