@HuckPalmer Casty also got poor lead off 2nd-he didn’t need run to 3b could have read how hard hit bunt was, held at 2b. I didn’t see rotation but likely no one covering 2b so 1st & 2nd no outs. Agree killed Momentum. Dodgers great first strike hits. Our top of line up watched those go by.

You don’t give up an out or the threat of a slow runner being thrown out with a guy already at 2B. It’s dumb. It’s weak. They had three straight hits and the place was rocking. Stott has Mitchell over last two months. Even if he pops up they still have a guy at 2B.

@SportsTalk_304 and there were no super seniors in the Big East when PW played. This is a redshirt freshman..some of these super seniors are 25, 26. He's competing against some guys older than current NFL players...let the young man adjust with our full support.

His program has been consistently ranked top 25 for the last 11 years. He has one down year and you vultures pounce like you found a fresh carcass. So I ask why? It’s because the media loves tearing down anyone who publicly expresses their faith. And this is the first opportunity you’ve had to go after him. It’s not about NIL because he’s used it. It’s because you enjoy seeing him and his program humbled. Well enjoy it while you can because they will be back. And I’ll be sure to remind you of this when they are.
