@KellyHamon Thanks Kelly! The last three edits I’ve done all tried for present, but then got confused and slipped into past. My advice is unless you’re writing something that’s completely chronological with no backstory, wait until book #2 or 3.

Just a shout-out to #YA authors and others writing in the present tense - it's very tricky. I've seen a lot of people attempt this lately, and often there are mistakes going back to past tense. If this is your first book, try writing in past tense first before attempting present.
