All this Mormons v "Christians" stuff has me cracking up. You're saying the devil has inspired a whole "cult" of people to live decent, kind, generous, Christ like lives, they even worship Christ, but the grand deception is in the fine print? Lol.

Being rejected by the Christians of the United States is not new. From Missouri to Illinois, government officials not only failed to protect our ancestors from persecution — they often joined in it. Saints were stripped of their rights, shot at, and expelled. Children were executed. Women were assaulted. Then, even after fleeing the country, that same government sent an army to follow their bloody footprints into the Rocky Mountains. Elected officials then continued to harass, malign, and threaten to confiscate the Church’s private property for decades. Now it is 2026, and the pattern has not entirely disappeared. The same government seeks to define what we believe. Voices on social media — most of them professing Christians — declare openly that our faith is obviously fraudulent or started by demons. Given that history, no one should be surprised when we respond with a touch of passion.

@hankrsmith I love and respect mormons. Most are really great people who have a lot good values but I will not lie mormonism is a cult and doesn't share true Christian values.

@hankrsmith If they said the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints were not protestant, there would be no dispute. We are different enough that a protestant chaplin would not serve members as well.

If Mormons just said these things up front. I wouldn't agree, but at least I'd respect the forthrightness. Instead Mormons play word games. If they are simply ashamed of these beliefs, why believe them! Either be proud and upfront or abandon shameful beliefs.

LDS Priesthood. 🤔 Take a closer look. Book of Abraham says ALL Egyptians are cursed and cannot possibly hold the priesthood. 1:21,22,27 That’s a MASSIVE problem for LDS. Not only the BoM people, but also Joseph Smith himself claim to be from Joseph of Egypt.. -Who did Joseph of Egypt marry? Wow, an EGYPTIAN woman who had 2 kids, named Ephraim and Manasseh. They are 1/2 Egyptian!!. All of the BoM people supposedly come from Ephraim and Manasseh… So Joseph Smiths own book of Abraham says that no one in the BoM could have held the priesthood and he can’t hold it either… That Book of Abraham is an absolute Godsend. Being a Christian doesn’t require all these mental gymnastics the LDS faith puts their members through.
