用了大概两周的KeyPal 2，作为日常主力冷钱包来使，感觉真的挺香的，分享下真实使用体验 先说外观和手感：拿到手第一感觉是“比想象中小巧”，厚度比一代厚一点但握着更稳。2英寸彩屏显示很清晰，15个实体按键输入PIN或助记词的时候超爽，不像触摸屏那么滑手误触，输入速度快了很多 #KeyPal2 #硬件钱包

看到本来以为可能是GMGN的问题 但直到刚刚看到金蛙董事长使用欧意钱包 瞬间让我回想到去年11月 我也是私钥外泄 被盗了15wu 经过各种排除到现在还没找到原因 如果董事长最后跟我一样不是自己的问题 那大概率真的是欧意钱包作怪了

Tutorial:

Plaintext seed phrase = taping your keys to the front door. Saving it on a USB drive = tossing your keys in a drawer. A safer way: #KeyPal Card -CC EAL6+ secure chip -Asymmetric encryption + certificate-verified handshake -Your seed phrase is PIN-encrypted and stored inside the chip’s secure area -Bank-card size — discreet and easy to hide Don’t store seed phrases in plaintext. This has already been updated—please update the app to the latest version. From the product’s functionality standpoint: if you don’t check the box, the seed phrase (and passphrase) will not be saved in the phone environment. From both a security and product-logic perspective, this approach is reasonable and works as intended. Please note this is an optional setting, not a mandatory (non-optional) one.

@KeyPalWallet Okay this way. What happens if I forget to check the box and my phone is connected to internet and maybe sniffer bot is on my phone? This stage has passphrase included. if I don't check that box won't my seed and passphrase be recovered on the phone without any second warning?

@Asian_Royals You can upgrade to the latest version. In the current version, you only need to check this option when you’re importing the seed phrase into the app.

@KeyPalWallet Put more security on all those " Do not store recovery seeds on this phone" add strong security like passcode and password typing so that the user will know the risk of he makes mistakes

Actually, before the user even reaches this checkbox, they’ve already verified their identity by entering the PIN. Only after that do they enter the security step about whether to display the seed phrase or not. If we emphasize PIN entry again at this checkbox stage, it could become a bit too cumbersome.

@KeyPalWallet I love using card wallets and tp looks good but cos of this easy and weak security on card import I never put much funds in the app. Hackers are using very advanced hacking technology now and any little mistake, can cost the use huge trouble. Add more strict security here

@KeyPalWallet About the keycard, we need stronger warning. If I want to recover the seed on phone, I must check a box.. so if I don't check the box , it means I'm not recovering on my phone but it is the opposite on the app. I need to check a box to mean no. We need more reconfirmation

You may be mistaken. TokenPocket has been around for 9 years with zero security incidents, so from that standpoint there’s no issue. As for the product: the one you’re referring to is KeyPal Card, whose purpose is to back up and restore seed phrases. Think about it—if the card could only write the seed phrase but couldn’t read it back, then the data written to it would be useless. On security: the card includes a CC EAL6+ secure chip. Communication with the app requires asymmetric encryption and certificate verification to complete a proper handshake and establish a secure channel—so it’s not something that any random device can read. Finally, for a full security loop: if you prefer a handwritten backup, when backing up via the app you can choose to display the seed phrase in plain text and write it down yourself. Overall, our product covers one of the most comprehensive feature sets in the industry.

@KeyPalWallet I have the keycard. In fact it's not so good. The NFC isn't fast in the card. The card is cheap. The app is scary because any little mistake, you can recover the seeds on the hot app. We advise your tech to change the app and lock recovery but they never listen
