My mom got mad when I told her I would rather live on my own that keep paying her $600 a month in rent. I'm 25 years old and have been paying $60 a week in rent to my parents for a while now. I recently landed a decent paying job and this morning, I received a message from my mom telling me that from now on, the rent would be $150 per week. I text her back, saying I would rather live elsewhere. I pay for my own food and I'm not willing to pay $150 per week just for a room to sleep in at my own mothers house. With that kind if money, I could rent a small apartment or even split the rent with a friend for less.

I just had a very disturbing Good Friday encounter with an ICE agent at the airport As I was going through security, an ICE agent asked me for my ID. I told him this isn’t Soviet Russia and that the only citizenship papers I planned to show him were the Declaration of Independence “Sir, I’m just asking for ID, not proof of citizenship,” he said. “Today is the anniversary of Jesus’s resurrection,” I replied. “He was an American. Would you have asked to see his papers too? Would the scars on his hands not have been enough for you?” He was stunned silent. I strode past him without showing my ID and went through the metal detector I received a standing ovation

@JonHelmkamp Not sure he was even drafted. Joe Montana 3rd round, Tom Brady 6th round. There are obviously exceptions but over time drafting late several years in a row eventually catches up. Happening to Chiefs right now.

It feels like this year's draft is unbelievably critical for Brandon Beane. In his tenure with the Bills, he has drafted 64 players. Outside of Josh Allen, since 2018, he has drafted only three All-Pro players — Taron Johnson (no longer with team), James Cook, and oddly, Ray Davis at KR. That's it. Beane needs a draft to truly hit. Multiple impact players while in Josh Allen's prime. A lot of Bills fans don't want to acknowledge it, but the clock is ticking. Josh will be 30 in May. He has a baby on the way. He isn't going to be Super Man forever. Beane needs to knock this one of the park.
