Just finished a “Books & Jammies” virtual visit with Kaneland McDole Elementary School. Wore my banana jammies — even threw on the matching socks. Had a blast, and give a big thumbs-up to any school that encourages me to show up in sleepwear.

When getting coffee in neighborhood, woman came in w toddler in stroller + baby on chest, looking exhausted. This, I said, making a motion w my hand, is a lot. Is someone taking care of you? She collapsed into me, crying. I held her for a good 10 min. Keep an eye out for others.
