Watching Azzi Fudd shoot at practice today and really noticed how she doesn’t “load” before she lets it fly. Every other player brings the ball down before getting to their pocket; hers just goes straight up. That half a second makes a world of difference in her release speed.

We have to stop shunning zone defenses - if ran right, zone defense is great at times. Let’s start complaining about the coaches ability teach zone. I would have to assume it’s not being taught correctly. I’d watch an AAU game if the zone defense was ran how it should be.

There should be a separate AAU circuit called the “Zone 23” for all the teams who want to play exclusively zone defense. Wonder how many college coaches would go 🤔
