LOHS “Alumni” Running

#FridaysWithSarah #RunningWithSarah #LOAlumni. This would have been an easy day to not run 6 miles in the wind and snow. But the advantage of being slow is that we were out long enough for the weather to improve by the time we were done! Coffee with Rose until the power outage!

#RunningWithSarah #FridaysWithSarah #LOAlumni. Thankful for the sunshine on this run! 5 miles on Paint Creek Trail, (snowy, but no ice!). ABeanToGo with Rose, then on to the weekend!

#FridaysWithSarah #RunningWithSarah #LOAlumni. 5 miles on some muddy surfaces! Dirt roads, Paint Creek Trail, with the rain, weren’t in the best of shape. But, still a great way to start the weekend!

#LOAlumni. This is the result of running 6.5 miles with a temperature of 1 degree. Frosty! Always easier when with someone! Just what the Dr. (Feinstein), ordered! LO ‘99.

#FridaysWithSarah #RunningWithSarah #LOAlumni. We’re back! Visited our kids in sunny California, then back home for a nice “crisp” run! California was nice, but I do like seasonal running!

#LOAlumni Another weather shortened run today. Which wasn’t so bad for me, but it was for Clay Kuiper, (‘22), and Carson White, (‘21). Also, got a chance to visit with Andrew Nolan, (‘20), who happened to stop by yesterday. Thanks fellas, you made my day!

#FridaysWithSarah #RunningWithSarah #LOAlumni Two miles of slipping and sliding! Then down to Wee Bean Coffee today for some hot refreshments! Needless to say we ran around LO because the Paint Creek Trail wasn’t going to work!

#FridaysWithSarah #RunningWithSarah #LOAlumni On our run today, someone drove by and yelled “Running away with Santa!” to us. Made us laugh! And Rose followed suit with what she was wearing, then on to ABeanToGo for a Christmas coffee drink.

#FridaysWithSarah #RunningWithSarah #LOAlumni Cold and crisp out today! Paint Creek Trail wasn’t the best , so made up a 5 mile route through LO. As always we ended up at ABeanToGo for a beverage!

#FridaysWithSarah #RunningWithSarah #LOAlumni Our conversation today centered around Oxford’s Regional Championship in volleyball that Sarah’s daughter plays for. It was fun for Rose and I to watch. (Sarah’s still fired up, and I’m so tired that I’m running with my eyes closed!)

Always nice when the LO cross country stops in after the Homecoming Parade! (It helps that we live on the parade route!). The cider and donuts provided by the coaches didn’t last long!
