It was fantastic to be able to show @kirstyjmcneill & @Labour_Douglas around @DBCFoodPantry yesterday afternoon and explain about the amazing work that is being done in our community.

Yesterday’s Budget shows exactly why Scotland is better with Labour back in government.
The Chancellor has delivered a plan that finally puts working people first — scrapping the cruel two-child cap, investing in public services, and giving Scotland the funding boost our communities have been crying out for. After years of cuts, chaos and drift from the Tories and excuses from the SNP, Labour is getting on with the job.
This is what Labour values look like in action: fairness, investment, and a focus on the real issues facing families.
The SNP must pass this additional funding on to local councils so that we can work towards improving local services and supporting those who need it most.
In May next year we all have the opportunity for more change in Scotland with Scottish Labour & Anas Sarwar as First Minister of Scotland.
A fresh start for Scotland — and proof that when Labour leads, communities like ours benefit. 🌹

Great session in Westerton this morning, chatting to residents about local issues & the upcoming Holyrood election in 2026.
Lots of voters are fed up with the SNP Government & their mismanagement of public services.
It's clear people want a new direction with @ScottishLabour
