I’ve noticed this anomaly in Solah (Congregational prayer) for a long time, and I think now is a good time to bring it up. I’d love to hear people’s opinions and thoughts on it. 1. Whenever the Imam says the first Salam (“Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullah" to the right), many people in the congregation don’t wait for him to complete the second Salam (to the left) before saying their own. They start right away after (or even during) his first one. 2. Today, during human prayer, someone said the Iqamah and recited every phrase twice (like the Adhan). I’m more used to most phrases being said once, with only "Qad qamatissalah" repeated. Alfas and brothers on the TL, over to you! What’s the correct practice? May Allah SWT increase us all in knowledge and Deen. Ameen.
