The most underrated act of kindness is simply letting people be. Let them mispronounce a word, talk too much about a show they love, or get excited about something you don't quite understand. Everyone has something that lights them up, let them shine, even if it's not your thing.

This woman said: My ex set the bar really high. He planned dates, took me on trips, paid bills, invested in my business ideas, brought me flowers weekly, kept money in my pocket, cooked for me, planned staycations for me to have time to myself, helped with the kids, never yelled or called me out of my name, our conversations were always great. Never "wyd" type of convos. I can go on, but because of that, it's really hard for me to date. I run into a lot of bare minimum men and I just can't do it.
